If you are looking for a way to improve the Alt-tab feature, then the Alt-Tab switcher application may be what you are looking form. Complete with large previews, nice looking graphics and customizable features, this application provides a very interesting overall experience. You can use Alt-Tab switcher with Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. For the best quality, use it along with the Aero interface.

After bringing up the Alt-Tab dialog, there are multiple hotkeys you can use to manipulate the windows: press “S” on your keyboard to select multiple windows, or choose the style you want by pressing C for Cascade, V for Tile Vertically or H for Tile Horizontally. If you want to close them all, just press X or, if you want to minimize them, press M on your keyboard. All these shortcuts operate great and will save you a lot of time. In addition, if you want to switch between instances of the same application, hit Ctrl-Alt-Tab and you will be able to switch between Internet Explorer Windows, Office documents and so on.
